There are elements of the Choy Lee Fut curriculum that are much easier to learn in extended seminars as opposed to regular classes. We’ve hosted many seminars over the years and are now proud to bring a regular round of several seminars each year covering both Kung Fu and Qigong!

Below are the details of this year’s seminars:

Qigong Yin Yang Pole (Level 1 & 2) and Lion Dance Seminar

LEVEL 1: Saturday 14th, January, 9am – 12pm
LEVEL 2: Saturday 21st, January, 9am – 12pm

Sydney April Seminar

Date: Saturday April 8th
Time: 10:30am-6:30pm (with lunch break)
Location: The Sydney school
Price: TBC
Curriculum: Ching Lung Gim (Green Dragon Sword) level 1 and Sup Baat Lohan (Eighteen Arhats) level 1.
The gim is a unique weapon in Chinese martial arts, combining soft and relaxed motion with deadly precision and power. The Ching Lung Gim is the most basic gim in the Choy Lee Fut curriculum and trains footwork, reaction, breathing and soft power. The Eighteen Arhats is a Qigong form that can be done both using hard power (to train tendons and martial prowess) and soft power (to train the qi). This seminar will take a beginner approach assuming no prior knowledge of either form and will focus on the basics, with the followup one-day seminar in September (see below).
