Mixed classes are suitable for adults of all levels and rotate between three focus areas:
More advanced and physically intense punch and kick combinations on the focus pads and/or kicking shields. Compared to the beginner classes, there is more emphasis on speed, power and mobility.
An introduction to the basic principles of weapon use in Choy Lee Fut and some basic weapons. No forms are taught, this class is an opportunity to learn basic exercises of the main weapons, including the pole, single edged sword (dou), double edged sword (gim) and so on.
More focus on the beginner forms (Ng Lun Ma and Ng Lun Choy) with more time spent on details, explanations, fighting applications and generating power. This class is especially useful for students preparing for gradings but is not specifically geared for gradings.
An introduction to Qigong exercises specifically tailored for Kung Fu practitioners. Improve your flexibility and mind/body connection through a series of exercises focussing on breathing and slow movements performed with more martial intent than in our regular Qigong classes.
