LOHAN QI GONG MEDITATION

The Chinese believe everything can be classified as either ‘Yin’ or ‘Yang’ and that these complementary opposites can be divided further into the ‘Four Forms’, the ‘Five Elements’ and the ‘Eight Trigrams’

The quality of Yin & Yang can be expressed in Heaven and Earth, the four seasons, the four openings in a face, the five internal organs, the six energy states and the seven human emotions.

When Yin & Yang are out of balance, the disharmony can lead to different types of illness. Lohan Qigong, through movement, breathing and meditation can help us re-establish this balance and better health.

The Di lohan meditation teaches the student relaxation and body enhancement through:
fu-1

• Breathing regulation

• Distinct postures or positions

• Personal surroundings

• Practise at different times of the day

• Practise with ambience and environments

• Practise with listening to different sounds and music

The practice of Lohan meditation can strengthen the body against poor health, weakness and fatigue resulting in low vitality.

For a thousand years Chinese have practiced this meditation for 20 mins a day to promote a strong body constitution and awaken the mind to live and enjoy life.
